J.D.'s Journal
KUHT's John Davenport, an Emmy award-winning television journalist, hosts this Texas-based human interest show. Billed as chronicling "unusual places and faces from around the Texas Gulf Coast," J.D.'s Journal first aired in 1990, and offers local interest reporting on anywhere from survivors of the 1900 Galveston Hurricane, to Gatorfest, to the Angola Prison radio station, and a tiny post office in Chriesman, Texas.
