Ryan's Roundtable
Ryan's Roundtable began in 1991, and was part of Channel 8's interest in expanding their local news coverage and public affairs programming. Hosted by KUHT producer and host, Pat Ryen, the show takes the form of a moderated discussion about current events, especially those that directly impact Texas and Houston. Guests include local professors, politicians, and reporters, discussing issues such as local and national elections, race and politics, the lottery, and ongoing debates about METRO rail.
